Jan Bertelsen, having completed his degree at a leading college in London and the prestigious couture college Hochschule für Angwante Kunst in Vienna. He started his career as a couturier creating evening dresses for state occasions at the English and Danish courts. His experience working with Bruce Oldfield, couturier to Princess Diana, Philip Hockley and Jean Charles de Castelbajac in Paris have given him a firm foundation for a highly developed design profile not only in ladies eveningwear and luxurious home ware but also in men’s underwear.

Jan Bertelsen is now taking his family’s long tradition of making men’s underwear into the 4th consecutive generation. His great grand father established his company in 1916 in Denmark. His father, Leo Bertelsen still lends his expertise along with the chief executive Claudio Del Duca.
